It's that time of year again!!
Ready for this little troublemaker to walk back into your lives come December 1st?

This little character can get into some pretty big events in your home come christmas time. If your one of the families luck enough to be visited by them, but notice that they are a bit...shapeless and soft. Let them have a sleep over at the elf doctors house! (Aka me)
In just 6-8 hours I can have that elf BENDING again in no time so they can get into even more mischief! You can also receive an 'action' photo of your elf while they are with me, to prove to the kidlettes that they really are having a good time and will be back soon.

Hands-Free Toddler Sling
Compact, lightweight, and simple to use.
I designed this on a whim due to my toddler being a heckin chonker and my arm would get so sore carrying him once his legs where tired of walking. It's perfect for the mall, outdoor gatherings, trails, the beach, or an abnormally large parking lot. It can be easily folded up or warn across the chest to have easy access as needed. No buckles or straps just a simple seat that goes across your body to minimize strain on the arms and back. Littles can even sleep in it! nuzzling close to you for as long as needed. It's very handy for that stage between 1 and 4 years old where littles have a burning desire to run and explore but don't always have the stamina to keep up with others.
I have 5 currently made and I'm able to do more! Just seeing if any other parents out there would be interested.

**stress tested over a 24h period with 50lb weight and no damage to sling. I've used mine for over a year and also have seen no damage.

Kids burn threw clothes soooooooo fast!! Sometimes it takes less then a week for holes to appear in the knees. Instead of trying to fix the holes as seamlessly as possible, add a little flare!! Not only is it a unique way to repair the hole it's also a conversation starter with other kids. You can have dinosaurs, super heros, animals, or trucks! There are so many fabric patterns to choose from. Let's get crafty!

Happy Friday Everyone!!!

It's looking like another beautiful weekend in kelowna. I have been dabbling in creating my own patterns for kids 3 and under, mainly pants that are durable, allow for air flow, allow for movement, and unique!
This is a pair of "harem" style pants that have tons of strech and extra baggy fabric around the bum to accomidate an expanding diaper.
I really like these konds of clothes for kiddos that are new walker/runner becauze it helps you spot them quickly in a crowded park. They contain an elastic that can wistand many frequent washes and fit for a could years due to the snug fit ankles but baggy and exsess fabric legs. I am able to make a custom pair in just a couple hours. They are great for the beach as well beacuse they will dry in the sun very quickly. I have alot of fun with these and im happy to make tgem available for you ad well. This journey of having two kiddos while attempting to create a home business AND being a stay at home mom with another work from home job is a great challenge. I love my work and I love sewing! But I frequently succumb to burn out and I'm sure I've disappointed a few people along the way with not having accurate completion times.
I've only been at this about a year and I learn new ways to manage things every day. Never the less sometimes home life puts very unexpected delays in the process.
I want to always give customers my absolute best work. I am a perfectionist and will frequently undo seams or even re-do projects completely until im happy with it. The time it takes me to finish projects WILL vary and im working hard to communicate delays in a timley fashion. I really appreciate customers who are patient, flexible, and provide constructive criticism! It all helps me make this life style and home-job possible.
Here is my most recent delay lol, my 2 yo tripped and broke his fall with his face.. causing his tooth to rip a hole in his lip.. he's been inconsolable for the last three days. But even with me needing to hold him constantly.. I'm still doing it while hand sewing projects. Trying to tap into that "can-do, no-quit" adittude. I'm also very happy to announce that I served my 100th customer this month! Thank you everyone for sharing my services and allowing this mama to be all she can be!
