We are looking for a recyclables sorter/processor that will also provide coverage for inside sales (Retail) and based out of our facility located in downtown Kelowna. The job holder will be responsible for grading & sorting recyclables, getting product ready for shipping, and working with the general public, with a friendly and positive attitude.

This role is ideal for both a full-time year-round position as well any university student (or others) who are looking for part time while in studies and fulltime outside of studies. The perfect individual likes to work in a high paced environment and has the ability to multi-task and prioritize their day.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Receive products from public and sort these into groups of recyclables
-Package recyclables and prepare them for shipping
-Retail battery sales
-Ensure property, facilities, and equipment remain in good order
-Communicate with customers/public to ensure they receive service/advice on recycling programs available

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Experience in grading metals / commodities for purchase would be a great qualification
-Experience/Knowledge in working with B.C. recycling programs would be an asset

We are looking for a recyclables operator that will also provide coverage for our recycling processors. The position will be based out of our facility located in downtown Kelowna. The job holder will be responsible for not only helping with local driving and forklift operations; but also supporting all other positions within the company.

This role is ideal for an individual looking for year-round full-time employment. An ideal candidate likes to work in a high paced environment with the ability to multi-task and prioritize their day.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Provide local deliveries and pick-ups of recyclables
-Facilitate overall flow of our yard, including loading and unloaded commercial trucks
-Pre-load trucks with supplies for transport
-Receive products from public and sort these into groups of recyclables
-Package recyclables and prepare them for shipping
-Ensure property, facilities, and equipment remain in good order
-Communicate and handle customers/public to ensure they receive service/advice on recycling programs available

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Experience driving a 5-ton truck is preferred, along with experience using a forklift
-Must have a class 5 license and clean driving abstract
-Experience in grading metals / commodities for purchase would be a great qualification
