Welcome to Spooky SZN! 👻 Fellow retail business owners... how are we feeling?! 😅

We’ll be BUYING like nobody’s business in October. The holiday inventory invoices just keep rolling in, and the numbers are SCARY. But we have to make sure the store is STOCKED for all our holiday shoppers. 🎄

While we’re spending those big bucks on holiday inventory, sales slow way down too. Talk about a spooky combination. September is always such a busy month for us and we’re so grateful for it, but October… on the other hand… 👀

The time to plan and prep holiday events, marketing strategies, content, and everything in between is NOW. And as you saw in the last two slides, when you’re already spending big on inventory while sales slow down, the pressure to recoup those funds and have a successful holiday season is higher than ever.

Because the truth is, the holidays aren’t just our busiest season… they can make or break the entire year for a small business.

Trying to balance giving our Frakas girls the time off they deserve while also keeping the stores fully staffed during the holiday rush? Now THAT is spooky.

Okay this one is a bit niche. I’ve done my fair share of spooking over the years, so I’m totally asking for it, but last year they hid in a cupboard and in my car. Nowhere is safe. 😱

Opening the store in the morning darkness is suddenly anxiety inducing, and I just had a baby… I WILL p*e my pants.

Which one are you? 👀

Obviously, not going to Vegas is the least of the community's problems right now with the wildfires. It was a good reminder that a little business blip isn't that serious in the grand scheme of things. Sending our love to anyone affected by the fires. 🧡
