Hi All,
How I got started as a Seamstress.
I'm from a small village in Terceira Island called Altares. This Island is part of Azores in the middle of Atlantic Ocean.
One of the reasons I started as a seamstress it was because at moment, I had to drop out of school to help my parents and at the time the village was offering some courses.
There were a couple courses available but the only one that I was driven into it was the Seamstress course. I started the Seamstress course back in 1994 and completing the courses in 1997. In Between that course I ended taking a couple more like knitwear, cut & sew and arts & Craft. since then, I have been working in and out as a seamstress helping family members and friends. I did notice that I have a passion and I wanted to pursue this career, so I opened up my own business back 2016.
