Carrissa Rice your Silver Icing Stylist Online clothing boutique that launches new items daily! So where did it all begin? In a wee little basement in the home of Christina Marcano.

Christina started in the clothing business over ten years ago when she co-founded an active wear company called Skyler Clothing. Skyler grew quickly and by 2008 they had three stores over two-hundred wholesale accounts and regular appearances on the Shopping Channel and then…the recession hit. Like a ton of bricks. The company started to spiral out of control and as a last ditch effort Christina w

ent to pitch her case on CBC’s the Dragons Den. The response was phenomenal. She received an outpouring of support but after a bit of soul searching she realized Skyler wasn’t her true dream. She closed Skyler down and headed back to her basement where she got to work building her true dream - Silver Icing. An amazing brand that offers comfy chic clothing that won’t break the bank. In 2013 Silver Icing launched and is now a thriving online shop with a network of independent stylists. As a young mom, Christina knew how important a work life balance is. She was tired of driving 2 hours a day back and forth from work. She loved being able to make her kids lunch or take them to a park on a sunny afternoon. Being a stay at home working mom was exactly what her family needed and it is from this experience that she committed to building a company that other moms and women could be a part of. Her greater vision is to provide women with the option to balance life and work by having the opportunity to work from home during hours that don’t disrupt the family lifestyle. Becoming an Online Styilst does just that. It is the best of both worlds, everything is online so you can commit as much or as little as you like. You can work when the kids go to bed or nap during the day. Everything can be done online, including pop up shops, so there is no need to sacrifice evenings or weekends to host parties. Carley's Palm Trees & Ocean Breeze Hat Review: Between the M/L (black) and S/M (beige), I found the M/L to fit me best. This is the perfect floppy sun hat to keep the sun off your face. It has a cute cord detail on the crown with pretty bead accents. The hat is foldable and molds to your head well! I think it would pack well in a suitcase or bag. Very lightweight and airy!

Kim's Go With the Flow Skirt Review: Hold the phones, I have been waiting for a cute little sarong wrap like this for so long! It's sheer but still adds coverage so you can't straight up see your business! It's a chiffon-like material and is super flowy and lightweight. There are two ties which allow you to secure it around your waist but I like to also wear it as a halter dress!! It takes a bit of adjusting but is probably my favourite way to wear it over a bathing suit! I don't mind that there is a slit as I am still going to be wearing this over a bathing suit so whatever! So cute! I am wearing the size S/M and it's a great fit.

Allison’s Go With The Flow Skirt Review: Oh my goodness! This little skirt popped into my life and I need it now!! It is the perfect little beach coverup but can be worn overtop shorts, leggings, skirts, dresses! The fabric is like chiffon, so lightweight and flowy! I couldn't stop swaying and twirling! The skirt has a bit of gathering and is secured to a waistband that you can tie! I am wearing a L/XL and it doesn't quite close, but I love the opening at the side!

Kim's Live Vibrantly Oversized Hoodie Review: Ahhh, the one I have been waiting for!!! I am obsessed with this cotton candy tie dye! It's so gorgeous and soft and the fit is ridiculously comfy as it's the perfect oversized fit. I found this to fit the same as the Road Trip Oversized Hoodie so stick to the same size you have in that if you snagged that one! I am wearing the size small and it fits nice and oversized but not in a sloppy looking way. I could easily size down if I wanted a more fitted look!

Allison's Live Vibrantly Oversized Hoodie Review: Oh my goodness, I have been not so patiently waiting for this sweater to launch! I am in absolute love with this dreamy tie die!! Wanakome has nailed their oversized fit, as this one is nice and roomy, but not too big! I am wearing an XL and it's perfect!

Allison's Lowest Peak Zip-up Review: Oh my goodness, how does one choose which Wanakome to pick from this launch! I love them both!! This buffalo plaid is everything!! I love that it's just in select places, and not all over! It fits just like the Highest Peak Zip Up! I am wearing an XL and it's a perfect fit!

Lyvia's Lowest Peak Zip-up Review: I am so in love with this collaboration with Wanakome! A similar style was in the suggestions but we made this one unique to us. We made it the same body & fit as Highest Peak, hence the name, and re-designed the checkered plaid. Because this is the same fit as Highest Peak, it will be easier to size as well! I am wearing the size small and it fits perfectly. I could easily size up to M if I wanted a looser, comfier fit but that just depends on how you want it to look!
