One of the biggest antique shops I’ve visited yet, packed with vintage furniture, lighting, hardware, books, jewelry, collectibles, and treasures around every corner.

I walked out with a vintage washboard, wooden spatulas, and the most beautiful cufflinks. Safe to say I could’ve spent another few hours there.

SO… IT’S HAPPENING. ✨

One of the questions I get asked most often is:
“Do you have a shop?”

And while the answer has always been not yet… I figured this might just be the next best thing.

For the very first time, Your Vintage Compass will be popping up at a vintage market!

After spending so much time sharing hidden gems, favourite vintage spots, and the thrill of the hunt with this amazing community, it feels extra special to finally bring some of my own curated finds out into the real world for you to shop in person.

Think vintage treasures, collected curiosities, décor, transferware (of course 😌), and pieces that made me pause before deciding to let them go.

But what I’m honestly most excited about?
Meeting so many of you in person!!

To everyone who has followed along, cheered me on, shared recommendations, sent kind messages, or simply loves the vintage world as much as I do, I can’t wait to finally connect face-to-face with this beautiful community.

Got a little preview before opening day… and wow, Deux & Co. did not disappoint ✨

I was invited to see their new boutique space at the Lachute Flea Market ahead of the season, and it’s everything you’d want in a vintage setup. Thoughtfully curated, beautifully layered, and full of pieces you didn’t know you needed until you see them.

Think renaissance meets cottagecore meets vintage romance… I truly could’ve walked out with everything… but I got lucky with some gorgeous pale blue coffee mugs and 4 brass napkin ring holders!!

They officially open Tuesday, May 5th, and will be there Sundays and Tuesdays all season long.

You’ve probably walked by this shop a hundred times… but have you ever gone inside? 👀

Tucked inside Galeries Des Sources, is a family-run vintage boutique that’s been serving West Islanders for over 10 years.

Owner Anika has curated an incredible selection of vintage jewelry, including sterling silver pieces, statement necklaces, and a huge collection of brooches (which are having a major moment right now).

But the treasure hunt doesn’t stop there… you’ll also find vintage furs, leather jackets, accessories, and plenty of unique décor pieces scattered throughout the shop.

Next time you’re heading to Renaissance or running errands at the mall, take a minute to pop in. You might just leave with a vintage treasure.

The cold doesn’t stop us when there’s thrifting to be done.

This spot came highly recommended, and with a name like Thrifting The Night Away, I had to check it out. Located on Old Malone Highway in Kahnawake, this small Indigenous-owned thrift shop is vibrant, colourful, and packed with treasures.

Every dresser and cabinet is filled (yes, actually filled), yet the space is incredibly well organized and easy to shop. I spotted brass pieces, tons of Pyrex and CorningWare, oil lamps, catch-alls, and some seriously good dinnerware, clearly the owner and I share the same taste.

Each room is organized by theme, with books, records, CDs, and even a vintage clothing section. I loved meeting the owners, Lacey and Lanny, and hearing their story.

I left with a set of cranberry Pyrex bowls (to die for), and my boyfriend somehow left with a Wayne Gretzky sippy cup… still questioning that one.

The prettiest finds aren’t they!? 💗🪿💐☕️🌸🖼️🎀

This one’s all about tying things together by feeling. Soft colours, florals, a little blue and white, and of course… Mother Goose moments because I can’t help myself.

Nothing matches exactly, but it all makes sense together. That’s kind of the point. When the colours speak to each other and the florals feel like they belong in the same story, everything just works.

These are the pieces I’d mix on the table, keep by the stove, or pull out for slow mornings. Cozy, romantic, a little nostalgic, and very much meant to be used.

Let’s call this one the Romantique Cottagecore collection. 🤍
One of each, once they’re gone, they’re gone.
