🍂 WHAT IS THANKSGIVING, REALLY? ❤️🍗🦃🥙💃🏼🏡🧑🌾
To me, Thanksgiving is so much more than a turkey dinner, a long weekend, or a table filled with food.
It begins with the harvest. The end of a season of growth, and a reminder of how fortunate we are to have food on our tables, a roof over our heads, and a place where we can feel safe. We can go to the grocery store, fill our fridges and cupboards, and know that we have what we need for another week. And for that, I am grateful to the farmers and everyone who works so hard to bring food to our tables.
But I also think about another kind of harvest. ❤️ 💁🏻♀️
The harvest of the people who have grown alongside us, shared our lives, supported us, laughed with us, and made our world a little brighter.
I think about my little local business, The Hipp, and how it wouldn’t be what it is today without YOU. Our amazing customers, the men and women who walk through our doors, support local, share a kind word, make us laugh, and keep our little corner of the world alive. You are so much more than customers to me, and I hope you know how much I appreciate you. I truly love the community we’ve grown together.
To my wonderful team, who have been part of this journey, grown with me, and helped make The Hipp what it is today — thank you. Our harvest is a shared one, and our successes wouldn’t be the same without you. ❤️
And to my family, my friends, and the special people in my life who love me, support me, challenge me, and make my days better simply by being in them — you know who you are. I love you dearly, and I am grateful for you.
I also know that Thanksgiving doesn’t look the same for everyone. Some will gather around a full table surrounded by loved ones, while others may be spending the weekend alone, missing someone, or going through a season of life that isn’t quite as easy as they’d hoped.
Wherever you find yourself this weekend, I hope you find a little something to be thankful for. Sometimes the harvest isn’t something we can hold in our hands. Sometimes it’s the people we’ve met, the lessons we’ve learned, the strength we’ve found, or simply the chance to begin again.
Life isn’t always perfect, but there is still so much beauty in it when we stop for a moment and really look.
From my heart to yours, thank you for being part of my world and part of The Hipp’s story. 🍂
Wishing you and your loved ones a beautiful, peaceful, and happy Thanksgiving.
With love and gratitude,
❤️ Evelyne & The Hipp ❤️
