Here we go again guys... I've been invited to show at both Vancouver Kids Fashion Week (VKFW) and International Kids Runway (IKR) this fall! To say I'm excited, proud, and honoured to have the opportunity to show my clothing again is a big understatement. It's an incredible feeling to have these wonderful fashion shows, and the people behind them, appreciate my clothing and my vision.

I will be showing at VKFW on October 18th, and IKR on October 19th.

These lovely handmade crocheted sweaters were made by my incredible ma, Cindy. Her love of crochet has grown in the last few years and so has her talent. While this is not a talent I personally have, I greatly admire those who do. These were crafted for my little nieces who I know are going to get a lot of use out of them. Way to go ma!

While Halloween has come and gone, I've been a little behind on posting these pictures. As per usual, I had the pleasure of making R's halloween costume as I've done every year for the past 6 years. Her brother decided to be a light up traffic light this year, so we left that one to good old Amazon 🤣

R decided she wanted to be a hippy and I was more than happy to oblige. I love the combination of the faux denim, the vibrant colours, and the little hippy symbols. In addition to that, the little daisy headband adds a fun element that my mom was sweet enough to make for her. I know R got a lot of compliments from folks who were hippies back in the day 😊 I probably say this every year, but I think this is one of my favourite costumes to date!

I haven't been sewing a whole lot lately, but I've been making some plush toys for a few friends. Meet "Emerson" - as he's now called. The pastel tie-dyed bull. More critters to come soon

Look out! There’s a dragon on the loose! Thankfully we also have a very brave knight here to step in and take control of the situation, phew 😅

I made these outfits a couple of years ago and am finally getting around to showing them to you. They are custom made out of holographic fabric, which is super lightweight and durable. I just love all the details that went into both of these outfits. I know the kids sure love them, too.

Audrey Raine hit the runway at Vancouver Kids Fashion Week yesterday! It was a fun filled day showing off our brightly coloured outfits full of whimsy, cool patterns, and a little bit of magic. We have colour changing fabric, extremely soft fabric, and clothes you can colour on! What more could a kid want?!

Sometimes... You just need to colour on your clothes! At least that's what happens when you're given monochrome clothes and the appropriate markers to do so! These two kiddos have been consistently great customers (well, and their parents, too 😉) so I decided to gift them some extra fun clothes for them to enjoy. These outfits are made of incredibly soft bamboo French terry, and they have Crayola Ultra-Clean Washable Markers to draw on them over and over again. They can wash the marker out and draw on them again to their hearts content! What kid wouldn't love to be able to draw on their clothes?!

Every kid needs a special toy (or two!) in their life. My niece received a monster toy last year for her first birthday and named it Baba. I decide to make her a backup Baba and here’s what I came up with. Watching her little eyes go big and round as she opened the bag and her little voice say Baba loudly was so precious to me. I know she’s going to love this Baba as much as she loves her original Baba 💜
