We are so excited to share that this holiday season we've partnered with our pals at to bring you a stunning holiday gift box, featuring a Windeyer Studio flower-dyed scrunchie! We were thrilled to be welcomed back to Monday Craft Club to lead another natural dyeing workshop - this time with flowers! We used a mix of fresh and dried flowers on silk scarves, and they turned out beautifully. We've loved having the opportunity to volunteer in our local community, especially when we get to spend time with such a talented group of creative people! Thank you for having us! 💐✨

Staying cool with some ice dye! 😎 For this process we freeze cubes of prepared dye (in this case, weld and marigold, cochineal, and fresh indigo leaves), and layer them with ice cubes on top of our prepared fabric. As the ice and dye cubes melt, the colour trickles through, permeating the fabric. We're layering ice dyeing over some previously bundle-dyed fabric, to fill the gaps between the flower petals prints and create a richer composition! 💐🧊

A work-in-progress from our first big dyeing day of the season! We used a mix of fresh and dried flowers from our dye garden. It feels great to be back in the studio! This piece will be part of an upcoming collaboration that we can't reveal just yet... But we're loving how it's coming along! 🌼🌸🪻

A small selection of our upcycled naturally-dyed table linens are now on display in Maynooth's beautiful ! Find us alongside other works in ceramics, fibres, paint and collage in the newest Wildewood exhibit, "We are stardust - Art for the anthropocene" on now through the end of August. This past week we had the great honour of joining the Craft Social group at to lead an introductory workshop on natural dyeing. The group was eager and welcoming, and we enjoyed meeting fellow craft-enthusiasts, many of whom are new to Canada! We're looking forward to coming back for Intro to Natural Dyeing, Vol. 2 🤗🌸🌼🌺
