Rope gun resoles

Rope gun resoles This page is to help understand the process of climbing shoe repair. This page is to explain shoe resoling and help you figure out if your shoes can be resoled.

You probably have a pair of climbing shoes that are in need of repair, and that's how you found us. Most often the front half of the sole is replaced. This is called a half sole. All of the old sole rubber is removed and replaced. A full sole replacement is not usually needed. Shoes can be resoled 2-3 times extending their life. This does depend on use, foot sweat, shoe materials, and so on. If th

e upper rubber on the toe, called the rand, is damaged or thin it should be replaced as well before a new sole is put on. The old rand is ground down on the front of the toe box. The new rubber is wrapped around the bottom. Then a new sole can be put on. We charge 45$ for 1/2 sole resole per pair. 65$ for rand repair and 1/2 sole per pair. Contact us with any questions.
