Bridal Alterations are Different.
Generally Bridal gowns are multi layered with varied, delicate fabrics, and small seam allowances. This gown has 4 layers, Lace, Tulle, Satin and fully lined. Some gowns have the Satin and the lining sewn together at the hem. Often with a band of band of Horse Hair, to keep a beautiful shape.
To alter the bodice the lining must be picked open before then the alterations can be completed and if all goes well a final fitting scheduled.

Have you ever had a favourite wallet?
I did and do.

I am sewing up a tear around the metal grommet on my 2nd wallet of the same design. I have my crocheted change purse attached to the wallet.

Originally, a clip put the chain through a belt loop. Very clever. We got them on vacation in Mexico.

When Paul liked something he often bought two, when one wore out he had a second to replace it. The zipper pull came off the last wallet, because of the tear at the grommet hole. I reattached the tiny zipper pull and now sewing down the trim to reinforce the area around it. It is as good as new now.
