This past weekend, Lisa and I had the honour of representing Canada in the Ladies International Dory Race. What an unforgettable experience! We crossed the finish line just one second behind the USA team in an incredibly close race. It was exciting, humbling, and a reminder of the amazing heritage we have here in Lunenburg.

Now it’s back to the shop, where we’ve been busy unpacking lots of beautiful new arrivals for the season. If you’re downtown, stop in, say hello, check out what’s new—and don’t forget to have a look at our race trophy while you’re here!

When I purchased the shop, I was incredibly grateful that she chose to stay on with us. She has become such an important part of the Mosaic family. She brings kindness, elegance, and genuine care to every customer who walks through our door

I am feeling so fantabulous to have these lobster cardigans in the shop!

A couple of lovely ladies from Calgary and Ontario stopped in a few days ago and absolutely fell in love with them. I can definitely see why!! they’re cozy and full of maritime charm.

Holy crap… 🤣

I was just looking back through my Facebook posts and realized I use the word “excited”… a LOT.

Like… a LOT. 😂

I guess that’s what happens when you absolutely love what you do. I’m so passionate about Mosaic, the amazing artists, the beautiful products, and all of you who come through the doors that I seem to be excited about everything!

So, I’m giving myself a challenge!

For my next few posts, I’m going to try my very best not to use the word “excited.” (This might be harder than it sounds!)

Now it’s your turn… What fun, energetic word should I use instead? Throw your best suggestions in the comments! The more creative, the better.

One of the things I’m most excited about this season is our growing collection of Maritime artists.

Not one. Not two. Not three. Not four… TEN incredibly talented local artists are now featured at Mosaic! ❤️

From handcrafted rings, earrings, bracelets, and necklaces to beautiful pieces you’ll wear for years to come, each collection reflects the creativity, craftsmanship, and heart of the Maritimes. Many of our jewelry pieces are nickel-free, thoughtfully made, and designed with quality in mind.

Supporting local artists has always been an important part of what Mosaic is all about. Their talent, passion, and stories help make our shop feel Warm • Natural • Timeless, and I’m so grateful to share their work with everyone who walks through our door.
