In a time of AI slop it’s refreshing to be in the outdoors, disconnected, covered in mud capturing real genuine moments with real genuine artists.

That’s what we’re all about. Stay tuned…

What better way to celebrate them than with some Italian veg tan leather embossed with the work of the talented Aaron Underwood

Owning anything from the 80s or earlier has a sort of nostalgia to it. The interiors of cars have character. The colors are interesting. There’s not a whole lot of gadgets popping off around you. Old carberator are basically an anti theft device because 90% of the population won’t know the process of starting it. You’re forced to learn how to work on them yourself because most mechanics these days won’t touch them.

I can count on all my fingers and toes & then some the amount of times I’ve been under the hood at the roadside. When you’ve worked on everything that keeps it ticking you get a weird attachment to it. You’re always half expecting it to break down - but you’re okay with that. It teaches you to just enjoy the drive.

My partner thinks it’s concerning - but some of my best interactions come from buying old parts off veterans. There’s something poetic about it. It’s always some fella in his 80s with some name you only hear in old western flicks. They’re usually pretty out of touch with technology and the latest gizmos. They’re handy as hell, a bit racist and always have something to teach you.

I’ve chatted with some of these guys for hours about a time they use too know - and that’s refreshing.

With how fast everything is moving it’s these moments that teach me to slow down.
