Our Story
Beau + Arrow Co. is a locally designed & handmade company based in the Tri-Cities of Vancouver, BC. Our mission is to bring something different to the market by making sure that everything we put out keeps not only children’s precious skin at the forefront, but the environment as well.
The business officially launched in 2017 when my son was 6 months old. I started off with water-resistant adjustable bibs, sewing them at my kitchen table during nap & bedtimes. As I got more confident in my skills, I started to branch out more and took on sewing actual clothes, which is what I really wanted to do from the beginning. I did Grow-With-Me pants, Rompers, Beanies, Scarves, it was great but a lot of work. I cut the patterns, taped the patterns, cut the fabric, sewed the fabric, ironed the fabric, packaged the orders, mailed the orders all by myself while taking care of my little baby. It was becoming overwhelming and when I got pregnant with baby #2 I knew that I wasn't going to be able to take the business in the direction I wanted to see it grow by myself. That is when I started researching getting help locally, manufacturing wise, with the clothing production. It allowed me to focus more on the business side while still being able to stay close the clothing being made and juggle being a mama of 2. I'm so happy with how everything came together.
