Many vision insurance plans and FSAs operate on a calendar year basis, which means your benefits reset on January 1st, and any unused coverage does not roll over. This includes eye exams, allowances for glasses, and specialty lenses. As the deadline approaches, appointments fill up quickly, so give us a call to book an appointment today. Clear vision is the perfect New Yearโ€™s resolution!

Spending hours on your phone or computer? Your eyes may be working overtime! About two-thirds of people experience digital eye strain symptoms. Here are some tips to protect your eyes from digital fatigue!
Every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds.
Adjust your screen brightness to match your environment. Increasing text size and contrast can also reduce eye strain.
Blue light filtering glasses or screen settings may help reduce the amount of high-energy visible (HEV) blue light reaching your eyes, particularly during evening screen use.
If you experience dry eyes, consult your optometrist about using lubricating eye drops to maintain moisture and comfort during screen use.
In addition to the 20-20-20 rule, take longer breaks every hour by stepping away from screens altogether.
