So many new faces here its time we reintroduced ourselves.

We’re Dave + Kim, the couple behind One Decision Clothing Co.

ODA was never really just about clothing.

Years ago, in a hospital room, in the middle of one of the hardest seasons of our lives, this idea was placed on our hearts.

You are always one decision away from a totally different life.

At the time, we couldn’t have known how deeply we would eventually have to live those words ourselves.

We’ve learned that changing your life doesn’t always happen in one huge, dramatic moment.

Sometimes it’s one decision to get back up.

One decision to ask for help.

One decision to let something go.

One decision to believe differently.

One decision to choose healing.

One decision to begin again.

ODA became our way of taking what we had walked through and turning it into something that could remind someone else that their story wasn’t over.
As our own story has continued to change, the message has only become more personal.

We believe we’re called to BE THE LIGHT.

“Let your light shine before others…”
Matthew 5:16

That’s what we want these pieces to do.

Not just look good.

Mean something.

A word on a hoodie that starts a conversation.

A message on a tee that someone else needed to see that day.

A reminder you put on in the morning that says: keep going.

That’s why ODA exists.

This tote was designed as a quiet reminder for the days when life feels heavy, overwhelming, or just… a lot.

Some brands start with a business plan.

ODA started in a hospital room.

After our family walked through the unimaginable, we needed somewhere to put the pain. Somewhere to put the hope. Somewhere to put the story of survival, recovery, faith, and second chances.

So we built One Decision Clothing Co.

Not just as clothing.
But as a reminder.

Because life can change in a single moment.
One decision can destroy you.
One decision can save you.
One decision can bring you back to yourself.

And honestly… somewhere along the way, life got heavy.
Grief happened.
Survival mode happened.
And ODA quietly sat on the shelf for a little while.

But the message never stopped mattering.

Because this brand was never really about clothes.

It was about hope.
About resilience.
About becoming living proof that hard things don’t get the final say.

So this relaunch feels different.

Less polished.
More real.
More rooted in who we actually are now.

This next chapter is for the people rebuilding.
The people starting over.
The people carrying hope and hurt at the same time.

And maybe that’s exactly why ODA matters now more than ever.

We've been quiet over here the last few months, and I want to be real with you about why. I stepped back to work on my own mental health. It wasn’t planned, but God had a different idea. A season of rest and healing was more necessary than I could’ve imagined. During this time, I’ve questioned everything—my purpose, the direction of this brand, and whether I should keep pouring my heart into it.

But despite the uncertainty, a verse kept coming to me:

Isaiah 43:18-19. “Forget what happened in the past, and do not dwell on events from long ago. I am going to do something new. It is already happening. Don’t you recognize it? I will clear a way in the desert. I will make rivers on dry land.” This verse became my lifeline, a reminder that even in the darkest, most overwhelming moments, God is working behind the scenes. He’s making a way for us, even when we can’t see it.

From that reflection came the inspiration and clarity I needed to keep going. I wanted to create something that speaks to this truth, to the hope that no matter where you are on your journey, God is creating a path forward. That’s why I designed this shirt—it’s not just fabric and ink. It’s a declaration that there is hope and a future, even when it feels like you’re walking through the desert.

Where did you meet God?

Three years sober for my husband and I when our world was rocked by my brother in laws overdose June 17th 2023 leaving him with global brain damage. Not knowing where to turn we prayed relentlessly to God for help sobbing in the ocean.

That was the day I met God.

My BIL is a walking miracle, and his recovery is something I am so grateful to have experienced. Through this journey God revealed himself to us and we declared our faith by getting baptized in Sept 2023.

We attend church weekly now but that's not where I found God. I think so many people think thats where you go to experience him, but for alot of people it's when we've hit rock bottom, when we've lost hope, we're desperate for strength, and don't know where to turn...we look up.

We have witnessed his miracles, his power and his incredible love for us and that has changed my life. Now he guides us and helps us transform our mess into our message. Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works...

Have you heard about the Let Them theory!?!?

Let them take you out on a Thursday.
Let them talk about everything and anything just because it's you their talking to.
Let them have a safe place in you.
Let them see the heart in you that didn't harden.
Let them love you. 🫶
