Then we’ll be digging through old photos for something totally unrelated and get smacked with it all over again — how much has happened, how much didn’t go the way we thought it would, how many times we could’ve walked away and didn’t.

This one’s for anyone else quietly building something that looked nothing like a plan. 🖤

Moths + natural fibers do not mix, so when one snuck in, our girl didn’t hesitate.

Name a more heartbreaking moment than flipping through a clothing rack… and there it is.

Something we’ve noticed over the years is how secondhand racks have changed. They used to be filled with quality; linen, vintage, real craftsmanship — now they’re run mostly by fast fashion. Well-made pieces are getting harder to find.

This isn’t about shaming anyone’s closet, and honestly, not all of it is “bad” — every so often a piece surprises us with real quality material. But a lot of it isn’t built to last, and that’s the shift that breaks our hearts a little.

And to be clear: we still want your SHEIN. We’re always thrilled to give those pieces a second life.

This is about the bigger picture…What fast fashion is doing to quality, and to our planet.
