We are Kelly and Cheryl Chapman and we are delighted that our dream of creating Kelly & Coco has become reality! The inspiration for Kelly & Coco comes from a decade-long desire to combine our varied talents and interests as well as our joy of being sisters and working together. Over the years our ideas have evolved and we have purposefully designed Kelly & Coco as a plac
e that inspires a casual art of living experience, with a touch of French flair. Kelly's genius for accentuating the style and beauty of people and places combined with Cheryl's passion for art and eye for one-of-a-kind treasures is what creates the bricolage esthetic of Kelly & Coco -"putting things together in fresh and original ways". We like to think everyone who comes to our shop will have fun and will find an item that personifies and inspires them - whether it's jewelry, a beautiful scarf, an occasional table or vintage accent piece for la "maison". Inspiration for the home abounds with French-country influenced items, such as vintage dishware and small antique furniture pieces. Cheryl enjoys searching for collections with good bones and character, going to auctions and estate sales in locales such as Prince Edward County, Kingston and Toronto. Adding the Coco touch of restyling means each accent piece is charming and unique. Because most items have lived previous lives, they come with a story that is usually so interesting, we are moved to share them with our customers. Our personal collections include French Skincare products, Fragonard Parfumeur, E & K Cosmetics; which is exclusive to Kelly & Coco and FV the Day Spa, and other exquisite added touches. Our collections of vogue and vintage accessories and Canadian artisan jewelry offer women a certain something, with emphasis on quality and imagination. Kelly's talent as an Aesthetician, Makeup Artist and Stylist inspires women to mix elements and to
accessorize - a bracelet, a lipstick or vintage jacket can pull together a look that is entirely individual. Without question, our family is a very important chapter in our story. They are involved in numerous ways - from hauling furniture, to most significantly, inspiring us. Kelly's eldest daughter, for example, is the model for Kelly & Coco and the muse for E & K Cosmetics. The Coco in Kelly & Coco is the result of Kelly's youngest daughter creating the nickname when she was learning to speak and unable to say "Cheryl". Since we love cocoa and all things Chanel, Coco was a perfect choice for our name! Another interesting aspect of our story is that Kelly & Coco is a pop-up boutique on the premises of FV the Day Spa. Kelly has been the owner and operator of this successful Day Spa for over 20 years and we are excited about the co-location. Our customers are too!
