Our Story

A Dressing Needs offers specialized outerwear designs and adaptive clothing. We strive to ease dressing routines and promote inclusion for people living with a disability. A Dressing Needs was built on the belief all people should have access to comfortable, fashionable and functional clothing that is compatible with their lifestyle, medical equipment and abilities. By reducing the physical strain and frustration associated with dressing and by increasing feelings of choice, independence and positive self-esteem our products can enhance the lives of those living with a disability and ease the workload for those providing care. Three main tiers of service are available: first and most economical is a line of ready-made adaptive clothing designed to accommodate common medical equipment and disabilities associated with aging. Second is a custom alteration service where we alter clothing to suit specific needs. The third service offers completely custom garments/products to assist with a dressing issue not solved by the first two services.
