There is something about being in Playa del Carmen, Mexico that brings together so many of the things I love: travel, hospitality, event production and thoughtfully curated experiences.
For me, travel has always been about more than the destination. I love discovering the details that shape how a place makes you feel, from the design and atmosphere to the service, wellness offerings and those unexpected moments that become part of the story.

After the warmth and energy of the Mexican sun, the spa feels like a complete sensory reset. It’s cool, calming and intentionally designed as a refuge where you can slow down and disconnect. The sensory deprivation experience takes that even further, creating an opportunity to quiet the outside world and simply float, breathe and be still.
Experiences like this are exactly why I love exploring hospitality through the lens of an event producer. I’m constantly noticing how spaces, sounds, treatments, food and service can work together to create a feeling people remember.
Whether I’m travelling personally, discovering experiences to share socially, or considering destinations for future groups and corporate events, I’m always looking for those special details that turn a beautiful property into an experience.
