Mylène Pirola et Florent Antona, originaires du sud-est de la France, sont des passionnés de vintage depuis les années 80, écumant les fri
peries, les boutiques d'antiquités, les marchés aux puces, etc... Au début des années 90, ils décident de vendre des antiquités et brocantes sur les marchés du sud de la France, et fondent quelque temps plus tard la boutique Tramway à Aix-en-Provence. En 2007, ils s'installent au Québec et font des kiosques dans les marchés de sous-sols d'églises et de divers événements, en continuant à vendre en ligne sur Etsy. En 2019, ils ouvrent une boutique d'antiquités vintage dans l'ouest de l'île de Montréal sous le nom d'Antique Plaza Vintage Rendez Vous et mènent leur projet jusqu'en mai 2023, accompagnés de 11 autres vendeurs dans la boutique. En juin 2023, ils décident de partir pour une nouvelle aventure au centre-ville de Montréal avec la boutique vintage, Jolly Pop Retro, au 1556 rue Laurier Est, jusqu'à la fin juin 2025, où ils prirent la décision de quitter le local et de continuer leur boutique en itinérance sur les évevenements à travers le Québec et plus loin aussi! Mylène Pirola and Florent Antona, originally from the south-east of France, have been vintage enthusiasts since the 80s, scouring thrift stores, antique shops, flea markets, etc. In the early 90s, they decided to sell antiques and second-hand goods at markets in the south of France, and some time later founded the Tramway boutique in Aix-en-Provence. In 2019, they opened a vintage antiques shop in the West Island of Montreal under the name Antique Plaza Vintage Rendez Vous and are running their project until May 2023, accompanied by 11 other sellers in the shop. In June 2023, they decided to leave for a new adventure in downtown Montreal with the vintage boutique, Jolly Pop Retro, at 1556 rue Laurier Est, until the end of June 2025, where they made the decision to leave the premises and continue their boutique traveling to events across Quebec and beyond!
