That happens when you make clear decisions early, on suppliers, costs, margins, and specs, instead of hoping each new sample will figure it out for you.

I’m used to constructive criticism. It was part of my training long before business, and I learned early that it’s never personal.

So when I put a product in front of people, I don’t hide from the feedback. I want to see their faces. Do they like it? Do they love it? Do they hate it?

Friends & Fellow Founders, that reaction is the most valuable data you can get, and it costs far less to hear it before production than after.

Discipline isn’t something I had to learn in business. Skating built it into me long before I ever sourced a fabric or sat across from a supplier.

Show up. Practice the fundamentals. Do it again tomorrow.
