Arcadia 🚣💚🏕️
We traveled to Camp Arcadia to visit the bench we created in honor of our late mother unveiled, ate some lobster rolls and stopped to pick up some bluchers and totes and L.L.Bean.
Our mom summered here in the 50’s & we summered in the late 70s, early 80s. It was formative for her and for us.
Created in 1919, Camp Arcadia has thrived for more than a century under the guidance and management of four generations, one family.
The Ethos: If you can make it in the wilderness you and survive anything.
It is meaningful to know her memory will live on in a place that brought her so much reward and joy.
