Fans of kaiju and raw denim, get ready. The next monster has landed. Naked & Famous Denim continues the Godzilla Through the Ages Capsule with the Shin Godzilla® Selvedge.

The 2016 film Shin Godzilla® (シン・ゴジラ) reimagines Godzilla® as darker, stranger, and more terrifying than ever. This pair carries that same energy. It’s the heaviest denim of the trilogy, built from a rigid 21oz Japanese selvedge with a jet black warp and a saturated purple “radiation heat ray” weft. It’s our darkest denim yet.

For the first time at Naked & Famous Denim, the selvedge edge is red and black, a nod to the film’s poster art and the red heat that pulses through Shin Godzilla before the purple beam ignites. Tonal stitching, full color poster printed pocket bags, an embossed and foil stamped veg tan patch, and dual branded woven labels reinforce the connection to the film.
