A fun fact about bras on a Friday morning...Herminie Cadolle from France is credited with inventing the first modern bra - in 1869, the same year that the Eiffel Tower was built. She worked in a corset factory and didn't like the constricting designs. She cut a corset into two pieces, put on shoulder straps and a waist band, and presented her invention at the World Expo of 1889 in Paris under the name “bien-être” or “well-being”. Thanks Hermine!
