Light this little jar of happiness with me 🫧.


You can not be happy burning a bubblegum candle, and I was feeling tired and bleh this afternoon. I’m going to read a book with my candle tonight.
Also not EVERYONE is making fun of me, I can be dramatic, but a few people think I’m silly for liking it so much… Especially my son. So to clarify, this candle is not for him. It’s for me. 🤭😍

Some Tuesday snaps 📸 - who can believe it’s October 20th?!
Things are moving along.
👀You have to see this ONE OF A KIND driftwood tree with antique ship base - (we only have 1!)
🌊 Just a reminder that we don’t get an abundance of each item of clothing each season, especially for fall & winter as the season is over so fast, we only have two months left really before (Christmas shhh & sales) and the spring summer shipments start coming in January!
🐚 So if you see something you like come and try on or check in with us, some of these only have a couple left.
🍄We did a quick try on of some coats and cardigans today and we will get to some more things in the next week or two. It is hard for us to put ourselves out there and do tryouts but we know you appreciate seeing them on people, and we can show you what we like and what we don’t about them! Check out our stories later for some more interaction thank you for your encouragement as women in our 50’s+ doing life - it’s not easy but we love our shop and you all 🫶

If you know you know….we love how so many of us can resonate with these feelings in this hand painted sign by Westcoastkitsch ( I can’t imagine the time and patience it takes to make one of these)! What a treasure for that perfect spot in your home!

We love our location at the top of North Nanaimo with misty mornings and spectacular sunsets, bunnies and deer roaming by and trees dropping way too many leaves 🍂 so that our shop reflects the love of our island and our lifestyle here while you browse! Nestled in a boardwalk village filled with a delightful working bakery that stocks markets throughout the week so people can eat real bread of different grains or sourdough, restaurants from around the world be it Mexican or Japanese, or more practical needs like a veterinarian, dentist, physio, Dr, realtor, yoga and a place to have your hair done. We love being a fun stop where you can grab a gift or treat for yourself better small or large and of course stock up on natural skin care or non toxic cleaning line at the same time! 🫶 We are “Island-ish”. 🌲🌊❤️
