Some weddings are grand, and some are quietly magical… Chelsey’s was the kind you feel in your heart long after it’s over 💫

Last week on beautiful Vancouver Island, Chelsey said “I do” in an intimate ceremony surrounded by love, laughter, and the people who matter most. Every detail reflected her—elegant, effortless, and deeply meaningful.

It was such an honour to be part of this special moment and to alter her gown to match the beauty of the day and the incredible woman wearing it.

I LOVE surprises! On Friday I did a "quick repair" on a looooong time special client and friends item. I had a few minutes and just whipped up this repair for her... And when she came to pick it up, she arrived with this beautiful bouquet of flowers that were SOOO fragrant!! 💐What a lovely surprise!! Thank you Sarah for truly making my day!! You have such a generous heart! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Today I'd like to showcase another one of my favorite brides from 2025! Brianna came to see me with an absolutely gorgeous gown that fit her SO well! We added an obscene amount of crinolyn under her skirt which made her waist look even smaller and allowed us to avoid hemming her gown. 🧵She had a vision for removable lace sleeves and had brought me a pair of basic sleeves that she'd bought from the bridal store. With her ideas and my skill, we reshaped the top of them, sculpted them to her arms, shortened the buttoned cuffs and added a ton of matching lace to make them absolutely perfect! 🪡 She LOVED them!

Sometimes, adding just "one thing" to an already perfect gown can take your look to the next level !! That's what these sleeves did to this lovely gown! 💜

Thank you Brianna Gaspar for entrusting us with your amazing gown! You were an absolutely STUNNING bride! Can't wait to work with you again on your bridesmaids dresses! Thank you for sending your beautiful Cabo wedding photos!

Deras was such a fun bride! She brought in the most STUNNING gown! It was the prettiest strapless see-thru bodice with lace appliques and a tulle and lace skirt with a "mile high slit!" Truly beautiful! As a bride, your wedding gown is one of the most self expressive pieces that you will ever wear! It should reflect your personality and style and I believe Deras NAILED IT!

Deras said "You made it such an enjoyable experience and I absolutely LOVED how it turned out. It was SO perfect! I thought you might want to see your beautiful work!"

Happy New Year Everyone!!

I've had a fabulous three weeks off over the holidays...and now It's a New Day, a New Week, a New Year.. and in that lies a New Opportunity for so many special things to happen!

I've had the loveliest brides this year! Jaylena was so fun to work with and she had such great ideas of how she wanted her gown to look!

When she picked up her gown she mentioned that she'd like to bring it back after the wedding and have her train made into a Christmas tree skirt! What a FABULOUS IDEA!!

Here is a pic of Jaylena in her gorgeous gown on her wedding day, and a pic of her new tree skirt!! What a wonderful way to repurpose your wedding gown! I left enough of her gown so that in the spring she'll bring it back to make a fabulous cocktail dress so she can wear it again! Isn't she a brilliant bride!! Congratulations Jaylena on your wedding and wishing you and your husband a wonderful Christmas!
