I was asked in the past if I could make some 2 fingers mittens. So I figured id give it a shot. It was very annoying to sew on my machine. I had to go back and sew sections by hand just to ensure good construction. I also tried it on leather before I would use fur. But this is not something I will make again. I'd rather provide a top quality product than something of lesser quality.

Knife sheaths are some of my favourite projects because each sheath has to be custom fit to the knife. It's also a challenge to sew through 3/4 of an inch of leather.

Im wondering if people would be interested in learning to sew either leather or fur. It gets boring alone in the shop and I also would like some friendly competition for the fall fair exhibits. If there is interest would everyone prefer a group setting or a 1 on 1 setting?

So I turned that monster fish into leather, took a while to tan and get it ready. Definetly easier to just buy fish leather lol but the fact i can say my dad caught it makes it worth it. I think I will turn it into a belt and stamp the location and size of the fish on the inside of the belt.
