Mark your calendars: my small batch collection drops August 28th at 6 PM on Instagram!

✨To Claim: Be the first to comment on the individual grid post.

✨ Pickup: Must be willing to transfer and pick up locally in New Liskeard (no shipping right now).

✨ A Quick Note on Care & Pricing ✨
These low-fire earthenware pieces are handmade with love - some, like our quilt mugs, took over 8 hours just to underglaze! Prices fall between $40–$65.

Because earthenware has porous areas (only the bottom), please hand wash only and do not microwave to avoid thermal shock and protect your piece for the long haul

☺️ that’s all for now! I’m interested to know: which piece is your favourite?!

Remember back in February and March I was underglazing some Jellycat inspired designs?

Well, these have been fired for a moment and thought I’d share some pieces 🤗 I’ll drop this collection near the end of the summer with other ceramic pieces. Just want to stare at them for some more time 😘

Ahhh, the “bisque glazing” stage - where I’m at my happiness.

I love glazing. So much so that I decide to take the “underglazing” route which feels 10x times longer because you get to paint with precision and pray your colour blending works out. Many think of underglaze as the poor-man’s-version of pottery where it gives paint-your-own-ceramics hobby shop. Having worked for one back in university, I honestly had the time of my life. It’s less abstract, less bleeding of colours, in hopes you feel like you have more control. However, you never know if your glaze will turn out in the same colour, similar to glazing.

At this stage, the colour work looks pale - almost like pastels? But once these are coated in a clear glaze and reach their necessary temperature in the kiln, you get a keepsake that is (hopefully) what you are hoping for 🤞

You’ll see I have some newer work on the go in the later photos. I really want to drop a Jellycat inspired collection sooner - just want to get enough in for a kiln firing 🤷‍♀️
