It first came into existence in 1603.
There is also the idea of "Wabi-Sabi" in which true beauty only exists in imperfection.
Nothing lasts, nothing is finished, and nothing is perfect.

These were a challenge! I was asked to line the jeans with para-aramid (kevlar)!
I had to remove and reuse the kevlar from an old ill-fitting pair of motorcycle pants and reuse them in a new custom Williams pair.
Although they may not be bulletproof, they can probably reduce your chances of road rash!
My next client will be Batman! 🦇

I haven't posted in awhile... I have a love-hate relationship with social media. Lol. However, I couldn't resist posting these jeans made with Japanese Kaihara selvedge denim. I like the use of the blue thread as the second stitch.
It makes the jeans look more handcrafted, as though they were single stitched.

Today is a good day.

I finally got these back. Unfortunately, I had dropped them, (Quelle horror!) Which is usually curtains for tailor shears.
However, I was able to send them to Whiteley & Sons in Sheffield, England, where their master craftsmen were able to repair them in no time at all!
..And I also got a protective leather sheath!
