The digger is finally in its final stages with everything in place ready for production.
The bucket is equipped with cut outs and stops to eliminate pinch points for those little fingers. Caps have since been added to the bolts of the handle bottoms. The kids are loving it and are already perfecting their skills by filling up the dump trucks.

Sometimes you just have to take a break and build a steel dinosaur.

Thanks RAMAR Precision Cutting for the 3 foot tall replica of the wooden set I used to play with as a child.

Our kids are loving the spinner, it’s a popular attraction in the yard. We added handles and larger bearings to final product.

I’ve had a few people wonder where I get “steel in a ring” so I figured I would shoot a time lapse of the rolling process.

Cheers,

Super exciting to finally have some play sets in the ground. The strawberry spinner is awaiting some recycled acrylic seats from a local small business.
Meanwhile the children have been excited to have new items in the yard to play with!

Welcome to Kids In Motion.
At Kids In Motion we strive to make quality equipment that is safe and fun to use while specifically designed for children aged two to five.
We rent quality playground equipment with no lease or term agreement. A single pedestal base is anchored into the ground, this allows us to change the play structure to hopefully dozens of different play and learning structures as time moves on. With our business plan children will never get bored of toys that can be changed constantly and are always in like new condition. By renting from us you keep cheap plastic toys out of our landfills and well-built ever changing toys at your facility. And the best part no storage or maintenance costs for our customers.

Pricing:
For only $50 a month you will receive one base anchor insalled and your choice of play structure, additional bases and structures are also $50 monthly. Anytime you feel the need for a new structure give us a call and we will change it for a different model from our ever growing catalog. The cost to change structures is $100 for the first and $50 for each additional structure changed on the same day.

Payment:
Invoices will be sent out in the middle of the month and are to be paid by midnight on the 1st. Late payments up to 7 days may be subject to a 20% or $40 charge whichever is greater on the next billing date. Three late payments in a calendar year and we reserve the right to remove our equipment. After 7 days of non-payment, non-contact we reserve the right to remove our equipment from your facility.

Cancelling Rentals:
Cancelling your rental is easy, once we are notified of your cancellation we will pick up the equipment. Refunds will not be given, you can choose to keep the structures until the end of your paid month or picked up as soon as possible. If you want the bases removed as well there will be additional charge of $100 per pedestal base.

Defects/Replacement:
Structures are to be inspected daily, if at anytime there is a defective play structure we will immediately replace it with the same style structure at NO cost. If the same structure in out of stock it will be changed to a similar style and if requested replaced with the original as soon as possible. A defective play structure means it isn’t safe to use, the mechanics are inoperable, bent or cracked components or the paint is chipping. In most cases they are an easy fix. To ensure children aren’t without a play structure that is safe and stable we will always replace the structure before taking the old one to our facility for repairs.

Liability:
We at Kids In Motion are not liable for injury caused by the use and/or misuse of our equipment. As we all know children will fall, hit things and become injured. It is up to the educators to ensure the children are using the equipment in a suitable manner that does not endanger themselves or others. In the case of a known defective structure ensure that it is covered and we are notified immediately so we can replace it. We will have liability waivers as well as correct usage papers for you to sign before continuing with installation.

Expansion:
As our business grows so will we. We are looking into building larger free standing structures that are preschool aged size, smaller than what you find at your local park, making exploring less frustrating and more enjoyable. Smaller monkey bars, smaller pedestal swings and smaller zip sliders, etc. these larger structures will also be on a rental and maintenance plan. We are constantly designing new structures that are easily interchangeable and adhere to all licensing requirements. We welcome your thoughts and ideas.

About Us:
I have been metal fabricator most of my life and love the craft. I love building new structures for my children to play on and allow my metal art side out to make unique and different structures. My wife is a Daycare owner who loves being an educator, she wants to bring the best learning and play experience to every child who comes to her facility. Many of the ideas for Kids In Motion have come from her realizing the need for quality outdoor equipment that doesn’t cost a fortune and with limited space can be changed to keep the children building on their imagination and gross motor play. After realizing the cost of many of these structures and the fact that after a while the kids don’t find it all that interesting; then storing for a while and bringing back out for renewed excitement, I had a plan. What if we could have lots of equipment and swap it out for seasonal needs or curriculum requirements.
