We love Ljubica in this titanium frame. Slightly oversized, but perfect balanced and in proportion to her features; this lightweight but strong frame will be comfortable and very wearable. The matte charcoal outline adds contrast as it perfectly frames her eyes, and provides definition against the transition lenses. At this time of the year, when our weather is in constant flux, the transition colour changing will be a godsend. We think Ljubica looks super stylish and very modern.

Irene steps into the world of and we think her selection is perfect. The Florida, in this fabulous colour combo is stunning on her. We love the architecture of this popular model, and how precise and flattering are all the angles. The tortoise with its redwood undertone, highlighted with periwinkle blue works beautifully against Irene's complexion adding contrast, definition, and contrast. The Florida is in balance and proportion to her features, and frames and highlights her hazel eyes. She looks modern, stylish and vibrant. .

Laurie gets a little eyewear magic from this Fusioni frame. Aside from a perfect, balanced fit and shape, this frame, in this rich teal is definitely Laurie’s colour. Enhancing her gorgeous eyes, it’s also beautiful against her complexion and lovely with her silvering hair; adding just the right amount of definition. The colour designers chose this bright, contrasting but complementary poppy colour, adding an element of surprise, that also provides visual lift; making this an ideal match for this vivacious woman.

If you’ve been in Edgemont for more than five minutes, then you know this village beauty. Betty, seen here in her new glasses, has worked at the library, Delanys, 32books, Highlands Church - and currently in Highlands Church thrift store - guiding you to fabulous finds. Bright and lively, Betty is a many decades long, committed community player and can often be seen engaged in deep conversation with any number of residents and merchants; or sweeping the sidewalk; or shoveling snow; or picking up carelessly dropped garbage - all the while being her charming, open hearted, friendly self. She does her shopping in all of our stores, and is our most staunch supporter. Her glasses have been her signature for decades, and we were happy to update her with this fab new pair. Just the right weight and proportion for her features; and a perfectly fitting keyhole bridge. We think the Demarco is totally Betty. Bold, shiny and simply dazzling!

...and another beautiful client in her updated eyewear. I think this frame, in this colour, was made for Dorothy. The marbled oceanic colours add a luminosity to her complexion, along with soft definition and subtle contrast.

Susan adds two new pairs of glasses to her current collection; each unique, each fabulous. First up is this two tone model. We love the angles on this frame, and how it follows her features. The slate blue/ claret is such a wearable combination with her overall colouring; adding interest, style and vibrancy. Her second pick is this stunning frame. We love this gradient acetate model in the tortoise to sheer mint limited edition colour!! A Cazal signature, double hinged temple, adds a bespoke quality to this beautiful piece; all to say - how beautiful Susan looks in it. So chic, so modern, so stunning.

We love Madison in her new frame. The shape and size of the For You is in perfect proportion to her features, framing her eyes and balancing the angles of her lovely face. The matte black and bright poppy are sensational on her. The black adding contrast and definition; while the poppy adds brightness and surprise - looking both amazing and playful. A great description for a human being too - Madison exactly.

Susan gets two new pairs of glasses and looks stunning in both! For her daily wear it's this fab Mosaico frames. We love this series for it lightweight look, and clever mosaic patterns. Deliberate offset colouration makes each frame quite unique and the colour blocking is brilliant. We love the colours in this model with Susan's overall colouring and how flattering and lively it is. Her sunnies are no less beautiful and colourful in the -paris Frost. The marbled acetate lightens the look, and trimmed with bright aqua and burgundy temples complete this vibrant look on Susan. Playful and sophisticated this sunglass gives Susan great coverage, and loads of style. Both pairs give us a perfect introduction to this beautiful vivacious woman.

It's the Thanksgiving long weekend, a time for gathering with friends and family; and a time to count our blessings. For us here at Highland Optical we are most grateful for you.
