This is the back of the Navi Hat which is a nod to my great great uncle, a Navigational Engineer in Wales and southern England. It's also a reproduction of the first baseball hat from about the 1860s. I have made then adjustable with brass D rings and this edition is made from vintage denim.

The 1940s didn't shy away from bold.

This reproduction of an original sculptural tilt hat is one of those designs that reminds me just how fearless milliners could be. Rich red wool felt, sweeping curves, and a silhouette that's impossible to ignore.

Some designs are simply too good to leave in the past.

The original 1940s hat that inspired this reproduction was made in wool felt. I wanted to see what would happen if I re-imagined it in linen instead, creating a lighter, summery version while keeping the dramatic silhouette that first caught my eye.
