People often ask why beaver felt hats are so expensive. They are our top of the line, premium felt hats. They hold their shape, they’re durable and they’re pretty darn waterproof.

This hat is my personal daily wear and this was after about 4 hours in a more or less torrential downpour today. Not a drop soaked through. The edges look like it did but that’s just capillary action carrying water around the edges a bit. I’ve hung it up to dry and once it is dry it’ll still be just as comfortable and just as well shaped as it was when I put in on this morning.
