I sold my first item to a non-family member! :) The best part is that it happened less than 2 hours after posting the scarf on Etsy.

Big change this week: I decided to change the name of my business from Les Weave to Esker Designs!
What is an esker? It's a long, narrow, winding ridge composed of stratified sand and gravel deposited as a glacier recedes. Notable areas of eskers are found in Maine, U.S.; Canada; Ireland; and Sweden. A few highways are built on eskers in Quebec, and also, my alma mater Bishop's University is located in prime esker territory.
I love the Nordic sound of the word Esker, and felt that its not-quite-definite nature would be good for all the new things and designs I've been working on.

Spring earrings! The colors are mostly blues and corals/red/orange. I was able to make some while the puppy slept, after tiring hikes. Creating has been a little slower since Cooper has been here. He's so cute I can't say no to playing with him!

Boucles d'oreilles du printemps! Les couleurs sont principalement des bleus et des rouges, oranges ou corail. J'ai été finalement capables de finir quelques pièces pendant que le chiot dormait après de longues randonnées. J'ai un peu moins de temps pour créer depuis que Cooper est avec nous. Il est tellement mignon que j'ai de la misère à refuser de jouer!
