New Balance Made in USA ‘Blog Era’ Pack
With 2026 being the 20th anniversary of 992 and the 10th anniversary of 990v4, New Balance pays homage to the era in which those shoes were released: the Blog Era.
The blog era was the modern age of discovery. The introduction of the internet and social media allowed for regional creativity to expand beyond their communities. There was a surge of underground creativity, from hip hop mixtapes, to prime sneaker culture, to skate and gorpcore dominating streetwear.
The internt created a forum for us to learn from each other. An opportunity to bridge generational culture by allowing the global communities to learn from one another.
