We have always gotten great feedback and have been re-booked 100% of the time. We have done things from the Ottawa 67's Shave For The Cure to raising funds for our Local Hockey Teams. Gearing up for tomorrow and we of course are following Almonte Celtfest closely on all the socials for the latest news and updates! We are super excited for tomorrow's opening day and look forward to catching up with our festival regulars and meeting new friends too!

🟦CELTFEST & THE WEATHER 🟦

We are planning for a fun weekend but want to make sure everyone stays safe while we brave whatever mother nature throws at us. Here are some tips and info that will help keep our guests comfortable throughout the festival:

☀️Celtfest is rain or shine, so please dress for the weather!
🌧️The Arena will be open in the event of extreme inclement weather.
❄️The Arena will be open as a cooling centre Friday 7am-7:30pm and Saturday 10am-2pm, and Sunday 10am-2pm.
❄️The Almonte Library will be open as a cooling centre Friday 10am-5pm, Sunday 9am-4pm.
🐕Remember that pets are not permitted in the park, so please leave them safely at home.
🧢Remember to pack a hat, parasol, sunscreen, chair, light clothing, and a water bottle.
💧There are water refill stations throughout the park, a water refill station at the Splash Pad, and water refill stations at the Arene and Library.
🧜‍♀️The Splash pad in Gemmill Park is open all weekend from 8am - 9pm daily.
🥤Cold drinks available at our food and drink vendors.
‼️First Aid is on-site should you need assistance or feel unwell. If you cannot get to the First Aid tent, alert one of our festival Volunteers immediately.

For over 15 years, Valley Merchant has proudly been a longtime vendor at this incredible festival. It's one of our favourite events of the year, and we look forward to seeing familiar faces, welcoming new visitors, and celebrating this amazing milestone with our community.
