Mair Oriental Rug Services Retired ~ 2023 Mair Oriental Rug Services, operated by Douglas S. Mair provided fine repair and restoration service for all types of area rugs.

The company was incorporated in 2004 and formally closed in 2022. I spent over 40 years in the Oriental Rug Trade working with Canada's oldest importers and wholesalers as manager and senior appraiser.

Typically related to new young puppies arriving in households *.
In this case I used original old Qashgai warps to weave into the older tribal Qashgai carpet. I found a good synthetic dyed blue wool to match the original bright blue wools.
Once complete it closely matches the old original.
