• Navy suit → Brown, tan, or oxblood shoes
• Charcoal suit → Black or dark brown shoes
• Black suit → Black shoes only
• Grey suit → Black, burgundy, or brown shoes (depending on the shade)
• Beige/Tan suit → Brown or tan shoes

Rule of thumb: The darker and more formal the suit, the darker the shoe.
