Happy New Year you guys! Hope you're all cozy and happy! 😊 I have big hopes for 2022 -- and top of the list is finding a new spot for the stores. In the meantime, I'm really excited to share with you that a few of my poems have been published (eeeek!) in the first issue of Fieldfare Magazine. It's our first Small Business Saturday without a physical location (we're still searching every day you guys!!) and I'd be lying if I said it didn't feel strange. Right now, these little (well, let's face it, enormous) social media platforms are the only way we can connect!
A lovely customer sent me the sweetest message the other day telling me how much she misses the shops and I literally just burst in to happy/sad/grateful tears reading it. We miss you guys! Thank you so so much for your comments, your orders, and your messages. And thank you for supporting Oakley and I on our Market of Stars journey!! Designing our own clothing line from home is a wild and (often lonely) ride. We're so happy you're here with us. ❤

I’m so grateful for my mom, who shelters my dreams as often as she can. Last night she came over and tried all of our new spring/summer 2022 samples on, helping me make some important decisions on colour and fit. Really though, I already knew the colours and fit. I just needed her to hug me and help me keep the little flame of faith burning.
The line is beautiful, and I can do this! Thanks mom. 💫

Oakley’s doing the heavy lifting— loading up the cars for our pop-up shop tomorrow! Come join us for some holiday cheer in Port Alberni at the Mersey Acres Mini Market. Gosh it felt weird not to be open this long weekend and welcome you guys through our doors!
