🧶 Macramé — Back to Basics 🌿

It’s time to get knotty! 😉 As the weather cools down and crafting season begins, I’m so excited to be teaming up with Crafts N’ Things for a 4-part Macramé: Back to Basics workshop series!

Whether you’ve never picked up a piece of macramé cord before or you’re looking to brush up on your knots, each workshop will teach you new techniques while creating a fun, finished project to take home. And the best part? You can join us for one workshop or come along for all four!

🌸 December 10 — Flowers

All workshops run 6:30–8:30 PM at Crafts N’ Things in Parry Sound.

🍂 We think crafting season has officially arrived… 🧶🌿

Has anyone else noticed that the last few days have felt like fall? The cooler mornings, crisp evenings, and that little shift in the air have me reaching for cozy sweaters and, apparently, my crafting supplies. 😂

And honestly? I’m not mad about it.

We had some wooden bases cut for a few new macramé wall hanging designs, and now I need YOUR opinion! 👀

If you’ve been to one of our markets lately, you may have noticed a few new goodies tucked in amongst the plants. We’ve been quietly rolling out our Soil Boosters and letting them have their little market debut before officially introducing them here!

So, allow us to formally introduce the newest members of The Bay Leaf family. 🪴✨

Our Soil Boosters are specialty blends designed to be mixed into your favourite potting soil to give it a little extra oomph—because sometimes your plant doesn’t need a whole new soil situation… it just needs a boost. 😉

🌿 Aroid Chunk Booster
For your Monsteras, Philodendrons, Pothos & other tropical aroids. A chunky, airy blend that adds structure, airflow and drainage while still providing some moisture retention for happy roots.

💧 Moisture Boost

Hola, Bay Leafers! It’s been a minute!

We’re taking a little break from our weekly McKellar market appearances this weekend because the fam is off camping for the long weekend! 🏕️

But fear not—we may be temporarily escaping into the woods, but the plants are still getting their moment in the spotlight! 😂🪴

We’ve added a fresh batch of plants to our Second Chance Plants category this week! 💚

Now, before you panic—these aren’t sad little orphans waiting for someone to save them. 😂 They’re all still growing and perfectly capable of becoming the plant babes they were destined to be. They just might be a little… rough around the edges.

Maybe they picked up some battle scars during their travels to and from markets. Maybe they were the unfortunate ugly duckling of their shipment. Maybe they missed a watering (or two 👀) while we attempted to keep 300+ plants alive, happy, and thriving… all while also keeping a tiny human alive, happy, and thriving. 😅

Basically, they’ve been through some things. 😂

But here’s the good news: you get rewarded for giving a Second Chance Plant a second chance! 🥰🌱
