Well, here we are! Pete, Jan and Corine are holding down the fort until 5pm today, and a few familiar faces from our current and former crew dropped by for morning coffee, stories and a little reminiscing. We’re missing Tim and Kathy today, who are off on the very important business of grandparent duty.

Stop by for a treat, a visit, and one last look at what’s left on sale in the shop!

It’s a little bittersweet to be closing this chapter, and we’re feeling especially grateful for all the wonderful people who have been part of the journey over the years.

Boats for Kids

We're finito on Saturday October 10 at 5pm. It's been 41 years of Paddling Fun but it's time for the Dyers to retire! Well - from selling and renting boats anyhow. The Town Store remains open and there will still be some White Squall fun to be had.

Pamlico 135T. These boats are kinda neato. With the slide of a seat, designed to fit one or two paddlers. Officially a kayak, but a bit like a canoe. The seats are the most comfy on the market. Awesome for two adults and great if you want to bring a kid along. We've got 3 left! Reg $1800, on now for $1295 - $1395.

Been a few tears around here as we wind down the old Squall. But also lots of smiles and happy thoughts of all that has gone on here over 41 years. And somehow it's all ok as our little town shop carries on, so we're not riding into the sunset quite yet!
