Let’s take a look behind the scenes at Queen Bee Millinery 🪡🧵✂️✨

I have always made my own stiffener when working with wool, fur and velour felts.

This year I have the amazing opportunity to include spirits from Top Shelf Distillers along with de-waxed shellac flakes to create the stiffener that will be used for the fall/winter collection and custom orders.

Why do I make it myself and not purchase a premixed product? 🤓

First, I like the process of making it, knowing what goes into the product I use and having the ability to control the stiffness of the felts I am working with.

Queen Bee Millinery was born from a need to genuinely express myself and a passion for quality, handcrafted headpieces that make a statement.

After 20+ years as an obsessed hat lover and 7 years into my adventures in millinery continues. I’m so grateful to share it with all of you.
