Quick update for the shop setup. Still lots to do. Shuffling things around to get anything done is frustrating but I’m tackling this madness day by day. An extra pair of arms would be nice…. Go go gadget arms!

This might take me longer than I had hoped.
Coming home I was expecting something but not this.

It’s sad when your parents get older and let some things go in their lives. I’m hoping I can bring a bit of balance and help with those things so they have a clean and healthy home to live out their retirement years.

For now I’m working on my bedroom and shop space so I can get back to doing what I love. And I’ll also be tackling sections of the house every day. This might take me a whole year but I’ll get it done.

1. I washed their carpets on the landing and stairs to the main floor. I’ll have to tackle this in 3 stages most likely or maybe 4.

Follow me on my journery as I rebuild the shop and bring some peace to the home.

I’m doing better on time today. Made it out of Lethbridge an hour after schedule but already in Saskatchewan!

I don’t think poor Kevin .neck.kevin knows what’s happening.

Usually we end up moving into another house and he is a happy boi once settled in. This time he has no clue that and I will be going our separate ways for now… and half way across the country.

I feel so sad for him 😭. He has an unmeasurable bond with her and I really hope he is going to be ok.

Crossing fingers he will be ok and back in BC with his mom in the future.

Taking down the live show setup was also difficult but seeing Kevin join in on our takedown…. I had to make this about our handsome boy.

One last push before I pack it all up!

Click the link and bookmark our last show. For an hour midway through our 3 hour show, we will push everything we show at 40% off! We for the quote for the move and it’s not pretty. I would rather pass off the savings to you guys than move it across the country. 🥰.

PS. When I settle down in Toronto I’ll have time to do some photo shoots and I’ll send you guys back your aerial builds ❤️

Guess we are gonna do just one more show 😆.

We definitely could use the help to move a couple more things before packing up.

Still collecting my thoughts these past few days. I’m still looking for solutions but it’s not looking good.
I will keep working on a way to stay here in Vancouver but some drastic things need to happen.

I have an idea but I need to find the courage to do it.

In the meantime I just wanted to thank everyone for your support. I experienced something I would never trade in the world for, working for myself and learning the ins and outs of running a business. It’s been humbling and challenging but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

This isn’t goodbye… I’ll see you all soon.
❤️

A couple years I started this duck project and it’s definitely been a labour of love and patience. This kit has so much surface area to work on so I’ve been taking extra care and time to learn new techniques on a larger canvas.

I did do this a year ago but never got around to posting it.
Playing around with even widths to scribe vents and took it a step further by adding some depth to each vent.

surprisingly it all worked out and I didn’t make any mistakes 🥹.

The cat joined in on the fun as well and got in my way a few times.
