It is with deep sadness that I write this post to announce that I have made the very difficult decision to close the store for the end of February for health reasons.
As many of you know back in October I started the long process of cancer removal and 2 major reconstruction surgeries; unfortunately I recently found out that the surgeon is not happy with the healing of the skin graph and they will be doing another large skin graph from the other side of my forehead in April and another surgery in May, so basically the same 2 surgeries over again. Not the news I was expecting.
As many of you probably don't know I have also been battling with MS for over 20 years and unfortunately with all the "trauma and stress" associated with my face my MS is no longer in remission and I am finding it extremely difficult to run the store. So after 12 years of helping so many wonderful people up cycle their clothes I am "retiring under protest"
I know deep down this is the right decision despite what my heart and stubbornness says.
After 12 years I have so many amazing customers/friends and I know you will be upset I will be closing but will completely understand and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support.
Over the next couple weeks please make arrangements to take care of your accounts, but I still have lots of stock so feel free to pop in. I would rather sell items rather than returning them.
I will also be selling all hangers, merchandiser, racks, etc. Contact me if you are interested.

Good morning to everyone!
I will be out of the store this week for round 2 of reconstruction surgery.
The store will be open and my daughter Ashley Lister will be taking care of things for me 😊
Please note no consignment items will be accepted during my absence and all sales will be cash only. Thanks again for your continued support and understanding, I will keep you posted as to how surgery goes today.

It's been 2 weeks today since surgery and I will be back in the store. Thanks to everyone for your support and well wishes. A very special thanks to my beautiful daughter Ashley Lister who ran my store so I could start the healing process at home and not worry about my business 😘

I just want to check in and let everyone know that surgery went well and despite the fact that they had to take a couple extra skin graphs from my cheeks(maybe removed a couple wrinkles in the process) I am on the long road of recovery!
A special thanks to all the well wishes for a successful surgery and recovery greatly appreciated 😘😘😘😘
As I lay here holding down the couch I ask myself WHY do women choose to put themselves thru so much pain for the sake of vanity? Accept and love who you are and remember beauty comes from within not from a scalpel!
As a side note pay attention to your body, every little freckle, mole or patch of dry skin can be cancer and needs to be dealt with ASAP, I am living proof that even though I monitor myself what seemed like a little patch of dry skin ended up collapsing my nose and destroying the inside resulting in the loss of over 1/2 of my nose and now a restructuring process has begun. Please take care of yourself, better safe than sorry! Love you all and thanks for your support 😘
