When I started Crowned Laurel Co., I had a lot of free time to be creative during our provincial lockdowns. I was able to keep an inventory, and it was perfect for my made-to-order system on my own website.
Today in this present time, I no longer have the same amount of free time as I did a year ago. As a one-person-show, I struggled to keep up with my made-to-order system, so I made the decision to switch to a pre-made stock system. Today, I regret to inform, I am finding it difficult finding free time to work on my time-Intensive designs during this season of my life, and I will be putting a pause on all future orders and designs.

I am happy to announce, that for the remainder of 2022, my most recent pieces can be found at in store, and on online via their website.

Crowned Laurel Co. has been such a great experience as a creative, to develop, design, and pour my heart into something I am so passionate about. It has brought me so many opportunities to network with other vendors and clients, and get to know a community of makers and future brides planning their big day 💫

As I sit here and reflect, I am moved with gratitude for all of the support I’ve had with this business of mine. Its important to me to personally thank EVERYONE for the support; whether it be purchasing my work, sharing my work, support on social media, ALL of it. It is so appreciated and I notice every single one of you. Thank-you.

This is not a goodbye, but merely a pause, until I am able to commit to my work with again with a full heart. Thank you all so much,

This past year with Crowned Laurel Co. has taught me a lot, and I am so grateful for all of the support I’ve received.

During the lockdowns this past year, I was able to devote all of my time and energy into creating collections, and creating a made-to-order system. I found that since I went back to work, balancing and keeping up with the made-to-order system was a little challenging. A made-to-order system works great if there are multiple people in production, or if a single person in production has the proper amount of time to do it; As a one-woman show, I do not have either of those.

I am so grateful to have had as much interest in my work as I have received. Going forward, I am hopeful for:
A timely, efficient shopping experience for past and future customers (instead of having to wait an extra 2-3months because of queues of the made-to-order system).

That being said, the made-to-order system will be changed to a “sale day” system.

What does this mean? Well, Crowned Laurel Co. will be a virtual storefront! ☺️
Every so often, I will host a day when my pieces (made in stock before hand) will be up for sale. There will be an inventory for each piece (ie. 3 Silver Meg Vines, 3 Gold Meg Vines). Once a piece is sold, then the inventory goes down; and, like an in-person store, once there is no inventory for that piece, then it will be sold out until the next “sale day”.

You will be receiving emails like this one to notify you when the next “sale day” is with plenty of notice. Keep an eye out on the Crowned Laurel Co. social media like TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook for sale day notifications too!

I would like to take a moment to thank you for the support you have given me. I am so grateful and I would like to make the shopping experience of Crowned Laurel Co. a positive one.

The Jasper Crown in Jasper 👑

When I designed this crown almost a year ago, I was inspired by glaciers and rugged snow-capped mountains. I wanted to create a crown that was a bit more of a statement while looking like it was from the Earth. It pushed me out of my comfort zone, and it’s one of my favourite pieces to this day

I’ve been wanting to visit Jasper and Banff since I was 14, so I named this crown after somewhere I wanted to go. I apparently manifested it, and when I booked this trip, my first thought was: “my Jasper HAS TO go to Jasper with me!” 😂💕👑
