The first real chill of the season calls for something that feels like a hug.

Autumn has certainly been creeping up on us. Even though many of you ladies have been in still wearing your summer sandals you won't want all your little piggies exposed for too much longer!
Aqua Diva is a brand that values keeping your feet comfortable and dry no matter the season.
I love the chunky soles for giving me just a little bit of extra height and they are great also for getting through puddles.

New at the boutique: the Amelia boot by Aqua Diva.

We brought these in because they do a lot of things at once. The leather is waterproof, so wet sidewalks and slush won't get to you. Thinsulate keeps your feet warm without making the boot bulky. The soft lining and memory foam footbed make them comfortable all day, and the zip on the inside means you're not wrestling with laces on your way out the door.

The shape is combat-boot inspired, with just enough edge to look good with jeans, leggings, or your favourite oversized sweater.

A tip from the brand: if you have wider feet or like a thicker sock, go up a size. We're happy to help you find your fit when you stop by.

A rainy day and the air is starting to get that first real chill. Fall has a way of asking us to slow down, and there's something lovely about answering it: pulling on a soft sweater, adding a layer, and letting the day get cozy.

It's the season of fireplaces, candles and warm mugs, the taste of coffee or a spicy chai tea, and a kitchen full of Sunday's fall baking. Feeling warm and natural in the cooler weather is one of fall's quiet pleasures.

We are also throwing on some socks, a sweater and searching for the right fall rain jacket.
