The two toned bunny almost looks like he has little pants on 🤭 this was a happy accident, the bunny wasn’t actually supposed to be two toned (this girl really needs to check her dye lots 🤦🏼‍♀️) and at first it really bothered me and I wanted to rip it apart and redo it. But once I finished, I honestly am loving the two toned body and I want to play around with colours now!

I’m not going to lie, it’s the best feeling giving something that you made with your own hands to someone and seeing their eyes light up 😍 this has been the most frustrating make to date… it was hard to work with such a HUGE mermaid, I had some trials and errors with the jumbo yarn, I made some yarn switches in the middle of the project and had to rip out big portions and redo them with the new yarn.. but the look on my nieces face when she received it was completely priceless and I would do it again for her in a heartbeat ♥️

Hi there 👋🏼 there are some unfamiliar faces following so I thought I would put a face to the person behind Beauty in the Knots. My name is Kristy, here’s a couple of random facts about me!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• I just turned 30 last week!
• I’m a momma of two fiery little girls who keep me on my toes, and a spouse to their handsome daddy, who also keeps me on my toes 🤭
• I am the youngest of 3
• I started crocheting in February and learned by watching YouTube videos after trying to make a bunny for my friends baby, but failed 😂
• In the summer you can find me somewhere in the middle of nowhere with my family, some good friends and our travel trailer

This is the first piece I have ever made… I knew how to do a single crochet stitch when I started her and that was it. It took me way too long, a lot of figuring out what to do next and it’s far from perfect but my daughter absolutely loves her and takes her everywhere, and that makes my heart happy 🥰 Pattern by
