What is a Stacyc? A Stacyc is like a cross between a child's scoot bike and an electric dirt bike.

🚨Official Announcement🚨

Last month I Trevor Patenaude the owner of MX North 54 made the very difficult decision to not only step down as President of the MX North Youth Motocross Association but to permanently step out of the day to day operations or the MX North 54 Youth Development Program

The reason for this is simple, MXN54 Youth is a community of support, it’s a community of racers, and families who support each other and grow together. The realization I had to come to terms with is that I’m not a racer, my boys are also no longer racers and this community that I love so much, it’s no longer my community.

In order for MX North Youth to grow and flourish it needed to turn the page and move on to the next chapter post Team Patenaude.

And I’m extatic to announce that the MXN54 Youth Development Program will carry on! It will embark on its 5th season and it will do so with Brand New Leadership‼️

A New Beginning or maybe just the next chapter.

There comes a time where you have to really evaluate what you are working on and if you are still the best person to be working on it. I created the MX North 54 Youth Development Program 5 years ago… it was a vision, a light that only came to me as I was going through some of my darkest times.

That vision turned into a plan, into a quest, into something that was, no is, my passion, it embodies everything that I am. MX North 54 Youth is just that .. it is all about the youth, ages 4 - graduation and doing whatever we can to help them grow and flourish on and off the track.

It’s hard to believe as the 2022 racing season winds down that 2023 will be our 5th season racing with MX North. It’s the 5th season that the MX North Youth Community will once again come together and be found tearing up tracks across Western Canada. 🇨🇦

The hardest thing for me, was coming to the realization that this community is no longer my community… when the gate in 2023 it will have been 4 years since the Patenaude’s last full season racing. I am no longer the best person to steer this community, because as hard as it is for me to say… my time has come and passed.

The MX North 54 Youth Motocross Association was created so that MX North Youth could live on long after the Patenaude’s. That time is here … and that time is now.

Our AGM is tomorrow, and for MX North Youth to survive, it will need a new face and a new board. It’s an Open AGM and I encourage you to attend.

To every manufacturer, rider, parent, Person who I had the pleasure of working with.. thank you..from the bottom of my heart thank you…thank you for letting me be a part of the journey with you!
