Mowing and yard work today and sporting my Saltwater Beanie ( pattern by .sheep ) to keep me toasty as it’s only 8 degrees Celsius here with a good wind blowing. Been super busy settling in and haven’t had much time for knitting but my needles will be flying again soon in preparation for summer and fall markets! Loving life!

We made it! So good to arrive safe and sound after the long journey across Canada!

And we landed! Finally in Newfoundland after an 8 hour ferry ride that was rocking and rolling over the waves all night. Disembarked in Port aux Basque and on our way across island! The wind and rain is still following us.

So happy to be back on the east coast! Good drive thru New Brunswick yesterday and saw the longest covered bridge lol and made it to Nova Scotia last night. Great visit with my brother and then we drove on to North Sydney to catch the ferry this evening. Hoping for a calm sail but the wind is howling and it’s pouring so everyone think positive vibes lol 🚢⚓️

Day 6&7 - Ontario is a never ending province lol and was challenging with pouring rain and rough roads. Pretty driving along the Great Lakes. We spent the night in Ottawa and then drove through Montreal and Quebec, crossed the St Lawrence today which was the best day yet driving - we even had some sunshine! Finally arrived in Edmundston NB for the night and relaxing with pizza and drinks. So great to be back in the Maritimes!

Day 5 - day late posting but trip is rolling along. Had a beautiful sunset arriving in Thunder Bay night before last and a great visit with more family 🩷 and then it was on to Sault Ste Marie yesterday and a drive along the Great Lakes

Off to an early start today with our Timmies ☕️
